  Ephan;Thanks for that thread-I needed to get that out.YES!I WENT.As did so many friends and family that some could not get into the church.The service was full of beauty,memories,comfort and gratitude and so unlike a witless fureral.We went from there to a crematorium,to her favourute hotel,then to an internment at a churchyard as the sun was setting in orange and purple on a hazy summer evening.And they thought I would'nt find comfort in that? Imagine how i'd be NOW, if I had'nt gone then?Apparently I proved how spiritually weak I was by going. They won't get that,how sad.

  i know that by nature (or nurture!

  ) i have an addictive personality so i have tried to be real careful that i'm doing the right thing by getting involved with them.

  Youknow;the name of your CO please; I need to communicate with him via this issue; I was ostracised for showing people threads from here, I need a CO to back me up on this issue that now makes even the ones who spoke to me, ignore me.
  Due to your insistance that you are doing nothing your congregation would disaprove of;I will now start an educational programme in my area,based on enlightening the JW youth in the importance of the internet;citing your experiences as my motivation.I appologise for thinking this activity was banned,I have much to learn.

  BEING 'advised' NOT TO ATTEND MY MOTHERS' funeral AS IT WAS IN A CHURCH.MY MOTHERS FUNERAL.

  BEING TOLD BY CONVENTION TOILET MONITORS THAT I WAS NOT TO FLUSH FOR A PEE; AND HAVING THE DOOR BANGED WITH A FIST TO SHOUT AT ME TO HURRY UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!She nearly got punched.

  BEING 'INVITED' TO SAID CONVENTION, THEN IGNORED BY ALL FOR THREE DAYS.

  I SAVED A LIFE TONIGHT !!!

  tonight i was leaving my flat with my brother, when a drunk guy from across the road came over shouting that his freinds apartment was on fire.. my brother and my kicked in the door, and went in to the flaming building three times.

  we eventually found him slumped over in a sofa.. i thought we were goners because we got lost on the way out, the smoke had by this time filled the room.. my brother and me dragged him out the door when his collection of half finished whisky bottles and gas lighterc refills exploded.. the only casualty was us with smoke inhalation, and my brothers car keys which fell out of his pocket in the rush.. look in the lisburn star on fridays for my smokey face.

  you can look at all the areas you'll be near and find something to suit your tribe;they're similar ages to mine and just as hard to please ,no doubt!Start saving though,we're no cheap you know!!Hope they're of some use, you can book hotels etc on there too;Good Luck! x

  Queen Mother passes away.

  buckingham palace has confirmed that her majesty the queen mother passed away peacefully in her sleep this afternoon.. she was a wonderful lady.

  we will miss you ma'am.. farewell.

  Very sad from a family point of view; but she was no relation of mine; just spent my taxes on 3,000+ servants; a string of race horses;made her daughter bail her out of her £3,000,000 overdraft; was the only monarch ever to announce when her daughter became queen'you must now address me as Her Majesty The Queen; the Queen Mother'...Two Queens in her title-one more than her daughter! She had strong Nazi sympathies and was incredably racist and rude and foul mouthed... Gawd bless her.Still I guess her family will miss her, condolances to them.

  Downsizing Rumor is Confirmed

  got more information recently.. brooklyn bethel is downsizing , bigtime.. first, they are moving a lot of printing out of brooklyn.

  and into "regional" branches, perhaps closer to where.

  the material is distributed.

  This could all benefit them though;If operations are being downsized due to lack of numbers to support the work, financially or physically, they'll just say that they've nearly finished gathering all the 'workers' and VOILA! more proof that the end is near.Those facts used as 'evidence' will pull in a few more for a few more years...
